political voicenews.com Hyderabad, June 14, 2025:Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) proudly hosted HackPrix Season 2, one of India’s most dynamic and inclusive national-level hackathons. Building on the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s event witnessed massive participation, cementing its reputation as a premier platform for young tech innovators.
Over 3,000 students from 85+ cities across India applied to participate, and based on their profiles, 550 students were selected to compete in the 36-hour marathon hackathon held at the LIET campus. Participants came from across the country, including distant regions in the North and North-East, reflecting the national impact and reach of the event.
Students showcased their expertise in cutting-edge domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Embedded Systems, and Data Science, developing innovative solutions and working prototypes under intense timelines. The hackathon offered a prize pool exceeding ₹1.25 lakh, awarded across various categories such as innovation, originality, and technical excellence.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tauseef Ahmed, Vice Chairman of LIET, expressed his pride in the initiative. “Following the grand success of HackPrix Season 1, we are thrilled to return with an even bigger and better Season 2. With over 3,000 registrations and 550+ final participants, this event marks a milestone for our institution. I commend the enthusiasm and dedication of our students, organizers, and management for making this event a resounding success.”
To ensure an optimal experience, participants were provided with free food and accommodation at the campus. Remarkably, the entire event was conceptualized, organized, and executed by the student team at LIET, with unwavering support from the college management.
